Hello everybody!

This week we have been travelling around the world, such an amazing trip!

Our first stop it was in Japan (on tuesday) and we learnt more about their country and their culture. 

Japan is in the continent of Asia and it has more than 6800 islands.

The capital of the country is Tokio and they eat a lot of sushi...So we must tried it before travelling to next country and definitely...WE LOVE SUSHI!

Today we learnt about the foods of the world, such as food from different continents and countries. We watched an English video on Youtube called ´"Caillou and the Food Market", which involved a young boy trying different foods from different countries, like sushi, curry and spaghetti. The children, after colouring in a map of the world, stuck on small flashcards of food onto the country it came from. They had also done word searches as a way of revising vocabulary they have already learnt.
