This week we worked on the theme of cartoons and comics. On Monday we began by watching an episode of Peppa Pig in which she embarked on a treasure hunt with her family. We then did the same! The children drew their own maps as a creative exercise before I showed them my preprepared ones and we went out into the playground. On Tuesday we started with an episode of 'Fireman Sam' before we worked with flashcards to establish exactly what a firefighter does or doesn't do. That afternoon we worked on creating our own class superhero and supervillain. Today we took the moral aspect of superheroes and discussed good and bad behaviour before starting work on our superhero masks.
